30th August 2010 Dear Member As you know, the club has been struggling this year to maintain adequate safety cover by qualified adults for training sessions. Following a recent committee meeting, the decision has had to be made that there can be no more training sessions at Teignmouth until further notice. The club will remain open for occasional use by qualified senior members. We would like to encourage any current (and prospective) members who would like to consider qualifying in order to help the club to contact us during the autumn as it could be very possible to organise a course in the spring. Obviously, we are very sad that this has had to happen but we are very confident that the Club will flourish again in the future. In the meantime, please check the club website regularly to receive updated information and we do hope you will all consider coming to the Club AGM due to be held in December (date tbc –check website).
